all designed to operate under 11m.

Upon successful completion of this demonstration, your staff will be issued with a letter verifying their competency to operate the above machines.

Verification of Competency Procedure

Verifying competency is crucial to ensuring that workers are up to date with new industry regulations, workplace safety standards, and any new technology or policies related to the industry and job role they work in at the time of assessment.

EWP operators must demonstrate competency in operating this machinery at heights under 11m. Upon successfully completing this demonstration, your staff will receive a letter that essentially serves as a VOC certificate and verifies their competency to operate the above machines.

VOC Assessment Cost

The cost of this programme is $225 + GST.

Verification of Competency Timings

Please arrive at the training centre in Villawood at 1020 a.m. on the training day. The EWP VOC will be completed by approximately 1 p.m.

VOC Accreditation

Sydney Safety will issue a letter on behalf of RTO Safety Training to all successful participants. This letter verifies their competency in operating EWPs under 11m.

What Is a Verification of Competency?

A VOC is a formal process used to assess and confirm one’s ability to perform specific tasks relating to the safe and effective operation of machinery or equipment. This process is prevalent across high-risk industries such as construction and mining.

Who Can Conduct a Verification of Competency?

Only fully qualified and registered assessors with relevant industry experience, knowledge and accreditation can legally conduct a VOC in Australia. Sydney Safety is 100% qualified to provide this service and can submit any supporting paperwork you might require.
