| Training |
This person is not required to act as a confined space standby (Observer) or a confined space rescuer. They are simply workers who are required to work under direct supervision in the space. Training will cover: – Confined Space legislation and Workplace Hazards and Safe Work Procedures |
| Participants must demonstrate | – All the potential hazards that might be present in confined spaces – What controls should be in place to mitigate those hazards – How to set up, gas test, use a permit, and have people enter and exit a confined space using both a tripod and a davit and winch |
| Course outcomes | Successful participants will know what should be in place for them to enter confined spaces safely, and when they should not enter that space until the appropriate controls are in place |
