Course Dates
The Confined Space Awareness course is conducted every Monday, Wednesday & Friday morning from 7:30am to 12md and is designed for supervising, design and administration staff who are not physically entering confined spaces, but are responsible for applications dealing with confined spaces.
The course is also designed as a means of making staff aware of what confined spaces are, and why they are under no circumstances to enter these areas. You also must ensure you now meet the requirements of the National Workplace Health and Safety Act, and in particular the National Code Of Practice for Confined Spaces. Confined-spaces-Code of Practice 2022.
The course is conducted over four hours, and is compliant with “The Core Training Elements for the National Standard for Safe Working in a Confined Space” and the training also covers the Australian Standard AS/NZ 2865 (2009) Safe Working in a Confined Space.

Upon satisfactory completion of this Confined Space Awareness training, participants will be issued with a statement of attendance.
COURSE FEES
When booking an individual on either a Monday, Friday or Sunday course it is $200 + GST per person. Please call 9892 3370 to book.
GROUP BOOKINGS
The course cost is $1500 + GST for up to 10 persons here at Sydney Safety or $1800 + GST for up to 10 persons at your facility.
If outside the Sydney Metro Area there is a travel fee of $85 + GST per hour to and from site.
If overnight accommodation is required, we charge $185 + GST per night, unless you arrange and pay.

All courses are nationally recognised, and our confined space 3 day Rescue programme is Sydney Water Accredited.
PARTICIPANTS MUST BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE IN ENGLISH, AND MUST BE ABLE TO FILL OUT ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTATION. We can train people where English is an issue, but it needs to be on a specially scheduled programme and YOU WILL NEED TO provide an interpreter..
