The WHS programme for Managers and Supervisors is to provide training to ensure they understand their responsibilities under the WHS Act and Regulations.
We provide two options for this training:
- Training in WHS duties and responsibilities for managers and supervisors, and if you wish you can continue on and do
- Demonstrate leadership in the workplace with option 1 above
This training can be delivered to your staff either online via Zoom or face to face.
Course Content
Option 1 – WHS for Managers and Supervisors
Provide individuals with skills to:
- Interpret, understand and apply WHS Legislation within the workplace;
- Acknowledge their roles and responsibilities in relation to workplace health and safety;
- Understand and apply risk management practices;
- Be hands-on and engage in workplace consultation, with all staff and stake holders;
- Consider the practices and methods for incident, injury and illness prevention; and
- Provide WHS information, instruction, training, support and supervision to all stakeholders.
Option 1 & 2 – Demonstrate Leadership in the Workplace
Provide individuals with skills to:
- Understand Safety Leadership and how it is connected to business performance;
- Recognize the key role that Leaders play every day to improve WHS outcomes;
- Acknowledge the importance of supporting and promoting safety culture;
- Embrace the levels of leadership and how leadership drives the behaviours of all wok colleagues, and that success is limited by the level of leadership.
Vocational Outcomes
Option 1 – Statement of Attendance will be issued to successful participants
Option 2 – As well as the above Statement of Attendance, they will also receive a Statement of Attainment BSBMGT401 Show Leadership in the Workplace

Course Format
This course is conducted via Zoom.
Option #1 WHS Duties and Responsibilities takes 3.5 hours
Option #2 which combines Option 1 with Show Leadership in the Workplace is 6.5 hours
Computer Requirements – Before booking this online programme, please ensure you have the following computer support.
- A Windows or Apple Computer system:
– Mac OS X with Mac OS 10.10 and higher
– Windows 7 and higher. - Your computer will preferably have Google Chrome, but Internet Explorer or Firefox can also be used.
- You will need a stable internet connection
- Your device will need to be able to play sound for online modules
- For Zoom classes you will need a Windows or Apple computer with speakers, microphone and webcam.
Course Fees
Option 1 – $1800 + GST for up to ten staff
Options 1 & 2 – $2500 GST FREE for up to ten staff.
